Michigan U.S. House of Rep. Mike Rogers - A Fraud and Crony Capitalist

Republican Mike Rogers is the Chairman of the U.S. House Intelligence Committee.  One of his responsibilities is to investigate the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi where four Americans were murdered by terrorists. However Rogers has dragged his feet and done almost nothing.  Why?  Also, recently Rogers, 51 years old and “serving” since 2001, announced he would not run for re-election to the House of Representatives and instead become a radio host!  Why?

The answers to the above questions are intriguing.  After divorcing his first wife of 17 years in the mid 2000’s, Rogers married Kristi Clemens, president and CEO of Aegis LLC a British Security Contractor.  Aegis was awarded a 5-year $10 billion dollar contract by the U.S. State Department to supply security for the State Department world wide.  Rogers was on the committee to oversee the contract.  Aegis LLC subcontracted the Benghazi security to a small obscure security firm called Blue Mountain located in Wales of the United Kingdom.  Rogers could have recused himself from the Benghazi investigation but instead he chose to use his governmental position to block the investigation and also to cover-up and protect his wife from liability, lawsuits, and damage awards.  Rogers defrauded the American people that he had sworn an oath to represent their interests under the Constitution.  Instead he did the exact opposite – he abused his office to protect his personal interests.

After the tragedy in Benghazi, Kristi Clemens Rogers resigned from Aegis LLC, and now Mike Rogers is resigning his office too.  I wonder if either will be held accountable. If you want you read more about this, click the link below:
