Marco Rubio: The Republican Barack Obama

     In the 1972 movie, The Godfather, the Corleone mafia family has an unknown traitor within the family.  The traitor has supplied important information to a rival mafia family concerning the schedules of two important Corleone family members: Don Vito (Marlon Brando) and his son, Sonny (James Caan).  The rival mafia family is seeking to increase its power and territory. With the information supplied by the traitor, the rival mafia family proceeds to assassinate Sonny.  An assassination attempt on the Don fails but leaves him injured.  Before Don Vito dies from his injuries he tells his other son, Michael (Al Pacino), who will eventually inherit the “family business,” that the traitor in the family will be the one who comes to him with a peace offering from the rival family to meet and settle their differences. This will be a trap the Don warns Michael.  At the Don’s funeral, trusted long time family member, Tessio (Abe Vigoda), approaches Michael to make such a peace offering from the rival family.  When confronted, Tessio confesses to being the traitor and pays for his betrayal by being “wacked.”  The Corleone family then launches a vicious attack on their enemy rival and decimates them.  From this ordeal, the Corleone family emerges stronger and smarter.

 

     There is an analogy between this part of the fictional Godfather movie and the real political theater being played out today in the U.S. with the Amnesty/Immigration Bill.  Republican Party members who profess to be loyal conservatives are actually traitors.  John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and most notably Marco Rubio, have come to the conservative family with a peace offering from the rival political Socialist Democrat Party regarding immigration reform. This most certainly is a trap. Chuck Schumer and Dick Durbin are two of the most virulent socialists in the Democrat Party.  They are interested in only one thing - to increase the power of their socialist political base.

 

     Of the three traitors, Marco (Tessio) Rubio is the most dangerous.  Marco Rubio is the Republican equivalent of Barack Obama.  Consider the following:

 

Community Organizing –

     Barack Obama started as a community organizer with a close association with the now defunct nationwide ACORN organization.

     Marco Rubio, is poised to surpass Obama in community organizing efforts.  By championing the Amnesty/Immigration Bill, Rubio is attempting to organize in excess of 11 million illegal Hispanic aliens and to secure for them U.S. citizenship and all the legal benefits afforded such status.

 

Illegal Loyal Political Base-

            Obama had a large illegal political base in ACORN.  ACORN, with its many legal battles over voter fraud, is now a defunct organization.

            Rubio is attempting to secure amnesty to at least 11 million illegal Hispanic aliens in order to create his new political voting base.

 

Path to the Presidency –

            Obama, building on his political base of black voters through his community organizing efforts, received in excess of 95% of the black vote on his path to the presidency.

            Rubio, of Hispanic ethnicity, is building his political base of Hispanic voters through his Amnesty/Immigration Bill.  This Bill grants a pathway to U.S. citizenship for illegal Hispanics, which Rubio hopes will, in turn, provide him a pathway to the U.S. presidency. Quid pro Quo, he gives them U.S. citizenship with benefits and they give him the presidency with their votes.   

 

Spreading the Wealth –

            Obama taxes (confiscates property from) the rich to pay for his greatly expanded socialist welfare state.  This socialist class welfare giveaway has cost Obama nothing.

            Rubio wants to legalize 11 million illegal aliens and put them on the welfare rolls at a cost to the American taxpayer (confiscating property of the rich and the middle class) of 6.3 trillion dollars.  This socialist class welfare giveaway will cost Rubio nothing.

 

Freedom Destroying Legislation –

            Obama forced upon Americans his intrusive/regulating Obamacare.

            Rubio is forcing upon Americans his disregard for the law Amnesty/Immigration Bill.

            Rubio’s legislation is much more dangerous to freedom than Obamacare.  Obamacare can be repealed and/or drastically changed by future elected legislators.  However, once 11 million illegal immigrants have been granted U.S. citizenship that can never be undone.

 

Deceptive use of their Political Party –

            Obama, has deceptively gained control of the Democratic Party to turn it socialistic.

Rubio, through deception will gain control of the Republican Party to turn it socialistic.

 

Fundamental Transformation –

            Obama declared in November 2008 just before winning the presidential election: “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” Indeed, Obama has delivered on his promise.  Obama has greatly expanded the welfare state and with the nationalization of the health care industry Obama has steered the vehicle of the U.S. onto the road of socialism. 

Rubio wants to add in excess of 11 million welfare recipients to the U.S. welfare rolls (once granted naturalized citizenship, these citizens can now bring other family members into the U.S. and will be given priority over other immigrants).  Rubio wants to put the pedal to the metal on the socialist road.  Rubio wants to accelerate the “fundamental transformation” of the U.S. that Obama began. If the Amnesty/Immigration Bill passes, the “fundamental transformation of the United States of America” to a socialist state will be fact.  An eight year Rubio presidency will complete and secure this “fundamental transformation.”  

 

  “All Hail Caesar!” –

            Obama has acted as if he is an emperor.  He has trashed the Constitution as a document of “negative rights” and has refused to enforce laws he personally disagrees with, including the current immigration laws.  He has the full and devoted loyalty of the Socialist Democrat Party for anything he does and despite what he does.

            Rubio will act as a Caesar too.  His Hispanic political base (their chant is: “we didn’t move over the border, the border moved over us”) will see him as the great conquer of the U.S. who has accomplished this feat without firing a shot and by financing this triumph with U.S. taxpayer dollars! He will be an historical figure.  Rubio will control the Republican Party completely.  If the Republican Party resists his ambitions in the least, Rubio will leave to form a new party or join the Socialist Democrat Party who will welcome him and his Hispanic political base with open arms (the Case of Collin Powell is instructive here).  If this happens, Rubio, on his way out the door may very well turn and as he leaves, say to the hapless Republicans, “Suckers!”  And in this one instance Marco Rubio will be both honest and correct.
