I have created a blog that fact checks Davison Community Schools.  I would like to especially invite Davison residents to visit my blog and leave comments. The website is:

Throughout the past year when Davison School Board members or School Administration officials made illogical public statements or made statements that were simply not true I responded by sending opinion letters (about 6 letters) to the local newspaper, The Davison Index.  The Davison Index printed my letters in the opinion View Point section of their newspaper. In August, Davison Schools Superintendent Eric Lieske stated, “We are in the top five-percent (of schools) in the state.  Our students, on any state or national assessment, will score in the top five-percent.” I was skeptical so I did some online research. I found Mr. Lieske’s statement to be completely false.  Davison Schools has never scored in the top five-percent for the time period that data was available – from 2005 to the present.  I sent a letter to the Davison Index, challenging Mr. Lieske and identifying the websites I obtained my facts and data from.  Davison Index Managing Editor Gary Gould refused to publish my factual detailed letter and said that he would not accept any more letters from me in regard to the Davison School district.  I even offered to pay the newspaper to publish my letter as an advertisement, but I was refused again.  Rather than give up, I decided to start a blog. 

The letter that the Davison Index refused to publish titled: Superintendent Eric Liseke and School Rankings, is posted on the blog. I have three articles on the blog and I intend to add important articles in the future. Presently, I am researching the facts regarding the resurfacing of the Hahn Intermediate School running track in Collins field adjacent to the school.
